Ichigo Ichie (一期一会)?

It’s a beautiful Japanese concept that roughly translates to:

“One time, one meeting”
or
“Once in a lifetime encounter.”

It’s about cherishing each moment as if it will never happen again—because it won’t, not exactly like this. Often used in tea ceremonies, but it’s also a reminder to be present, mindful, and grateful for every unique interaction.

It’s like saying “Hi, Nice to meet you ” to the ingredients before cooking. Cherishing and focusing to do your best in the work and art.
